Great
Burgenland is different!
Very warm and humid weather beginning in Spring creates ideal growing-conditions, a warm May encourages very fast growth and early flowering, a long, dry spell in July is followed by autumn – like weather conditions in August that accelerate the ripening process. A very sunny and hot September resulted in well-ripened grapes with high
concentration levels, the vintage was early. The last vintage with the number one in front is an extremely promising one. These wines are hearty and splendidly concentrated with big notes of fruit, full bodied with exotic fruit aromas.
